In 2026, I co-created and co-hosted THAT DAY, a limited-season podcast where midlife Australian women shared the day everything changed, and what came after. Some stories will shock you. Others might make you cry. All of them reveal the courage it takes to start again.
As a former coroner, I spent twelve years sitting with the worst days of people's lives. I know, more intimately than most, that none of us are promised tomorrow and that a single day can split a life into before and after. THAT DAY was born from that knowing: a space for women to tell the truth about their turning points, without polish, without performance.
Episode One is my own story. The day I walked away from the Coroners Court, and from the version of success I'd spent twenty-five years building.
I'm extraordinarily proud of this season, and endlessly grateful to the women who trusted us with their stories.
Everyone has a day they never forget
